João "felps" Vasconcellos has announced his departure from ex-Luminosity in a TwitLonger. He returns to MIBR's bench to await new offers.
On September 12, Luminosity Gaming dropped its CS:GO roster, with the exception of Lucas "LUCAS1" Teles who is currently on loan to MIBR. It however left the team's ESL Pro League Season 10 and Esports Championship Series spots to the discharged lineup who have gone by the name ex-Luminosity since.
According to felps, the team cannot stick together due to huge expenses and the inability to achieve their goals. ex-Luminosity have remained in North America to compete in the ECS. Sadly, they were eliminated by Cloud9 and MIBR in the first round, after just two weeks.
Felipe "skullz" Medeiros and felps were both on loan to Luminosity when the roster was dropped, with skullz still signed to W7M Gaming and felps, MIBR. Leaving them with better options than the other.
ex-Luminosity still have their EPL spot, but with felps gone and the event about a week away, ex-Luminosity may not be able to find a replacement in time. There's also the possibility that the rest of the squad will break up anyway, but none of the remaining members have confirmed nor denied this.
