Burger King joins forces with FaZe Clan to promote the nationwide launch of the Impossible Whooper. It's their new burger with a meatless patty.

The patty is made of soy and potato proteins, coconut oil, heme and a few other ingredients. It was originally tested back in April at 59 locations in the St Louis area, becoming such a success, the company has since decided to launch it across the US. The Impossible Whopper launches today August 8.

FaZe Clan released a recent video featuring the team and the king of burgers in a taste challenge. There will also be a live stream later today to mark the occasion.

Burger King has made other attempts in the past to penetrate the esports market. In Spain it tried an in-game delivery service on PlayStation Network and also helped promote Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s Blackout mode. As for FaZe Clan, this is just one in a growing list of partnerships with strong global brands.
