FaZe and Liquid have won their matches on day one of the BLAST Premier Spring Series 2020.

FaZe took down Ninjas in Pyjamas with a convincing 2-0 victory; Overpass 16-7, Mirage 16-8. While NiP isn't the toughest competition at the BLAST Premier Spring Series, FaZe did look pretty good in their showing. Nikola "NiKo" Kovač showed his superstar form with a 103.5 ADR for the series. Newcomer Halvijs "broky" Saukants also appears to have shaken off the jitters and found his style as the AWPer on FaZe with a +25 differential and 93.8 ADR for the series.

Liquid's victory over MIBR wasn't quite as convincing as the FaZe series. They won the series 2-0, but the scorelines were a bit closer; Vertigo 22-19, Inferno 16-9. Vertigo truly felt like anyone's map. MIBR and Liquid were always back and forth, and each team saw its share of crazy plays, especially Keith "NAF" Markovic. Inferno seemed like a stomping at the first half with Liquid winning 11-4, but MIBR did all they could to make it enjoyable, it just wasn't quite enough to take down Liquid.

The BLAST Premier Spring Series 2020 resumes tomorrow with NiP vs. MIBR and FaZe vs. Liquid
