It's quite fair to say that Fallout 76 wasn't history's best game release. But there were some talks on the internet that Bethesda thought of transferring their brainchild into a free-to-play system. These rumours were substantiated by the fact that the game's physical copies are in short supply in Australia (although you can be sure that there are more than enough). Unfounded gossips as we can see, but their popularity forced Bethesda to speak out on Twitter.
No further comments followed. Of course, this kind of transfer can happen in time, but not 2 months after the release. Admit it, Bethesda did a great job on the game with all this negative stuff came up. Fans may appreciate it, but shifting into the free-to-play model will nullify the whole positive attitude of the players who bought Fallout 76 for the full price.
