Fallout 4 - Vault Locations

Introduction

Fallout 4 is one of the most interesting open-world games which gives the player the ability to freely roam around and do all kind of stuff. In addition, there are many features such as customizing weapons,  crafting modifications, acquiring Power Armors and many more.

Having said that, there is also another interesting aspect of Fallout 4 - the Vaults. They are basically sealed, underground shelters which can protect you from various stuff in the game. However, there are not that many out there, which kind of makes them a rare sight to behold. Undoubtedly the most famous one is Vault 111, which is where the protagonist comes from.

Even though you will eventually be able to discover where those Vaults are, knowing where to look is definitely a plus. 

The different Vaults across the game

• Vault 114 - This is one of the first ones which you will come across. It is located near the coast and you`ll get the chance to visit it while doing the main story. To be precise, the quest that goes there is called "Unlikely Valentine" and it is about pursuing of a private detective to help you. However, this vault is used by the Italian mafia so you have to be careful.
• Vault 81 - This vault is actively being used, unlike the others in the game.  In order to get to it, head west from Diamond City and you should be able to see it. The people are living a good life there but as you will see for yourself, things change drastically when a plague hits them.
• Vault 95 - Located in the far south-west of the world map, this vault is inhabited by raiders. The strange part is that this vault has a very serious defense system, which begs the question of how did they actually take control. 
• Vault 75 - Last, but certainly not least, this vault is located under the Maiden Middle School. Once you go there, look out for a cell with bars.  As soon as you find them, go through and it will lead you to the basement door where you will find the vault. However, there are several raiders out there so you need to be careful because it could get dangerous.
