PUBG Corp. and FACEIT have announced this year's first PUBG tournament — it will be hosted in London, at ExCeL centre, April 16-21. The FACEIT Global Summit: PUBG Classic will highlight 24 qualifying crews from the PUBG national professional leagues. There is no information about qualifiers, prize-pools, and sponsors — as we understand, the organizers will announce them later. Don't worry, we will keep you informed.
And also, as an addition to the main event, there will be a duos showmatch (an alternate game mode featuring two-player teams), starring six teams who participated in the FACEIT PUBG Showdown. PUBG Corp. and FACEIT began their partnership in the late summer of 2018 — FACEIT's platform became game's main competitive progression system.
The FACEIT Global Summit: PUBG Classic will signify the end of the first phase of the 2018-19 PUBG esports calendar. We remind you that there will be two more international events — in July and November, and the prize pool of the last one will be nearly $2M.
