Multi-game esports organization, T1 has signed Victor "Food" Wong to its growing VALORANT roster, making him the fourth player on the Team.
Food most recently played for Swole Patrol, but he's also been on several other teams, like eUnited and Team Singularity. He's even had a lot of experience competing at Major's like ESL One: New York 2019 and, more recently, ESL Pro League Season 11: North America.
With @food_cs on our team, winning is DEFINITELY on the menu.

Although he left Swole Patrol before them, recent departures Jordan "Zellsis" Montemurro and in-game leader Ryan "freakazoid" Abadir also left competitive CS:GO for VALORANT. However, former Swole Patrol members from even further back, Daniel "fRoD" Montaner and Braxton "swag" Pierce made the jump to VALORANT a while ago. Both these players also happen to be on T1's VALORANT roster.
Here's what the current T1 VALORANT roster looks like:
-
Keven "AZK" Larivière
-
Austin "Crashies" Roberts
-
Braxton "Brax" Pierce
-
Victor "Food" Wong
-
Daniel “fRoD” Montaner (coach)
CS:GO isn't the only game to see an exodus of players to VALORANT. Overwatch League MVP and champion, Jay "sinatraa" Won of the San Francisco Shock and Sentinels Apex Legends player (formerly Overwatch) Jared "zombs" Gitlin also made the jump.
With only one player remaining, it would come as no surprise if T1 signs yet another professional player making the switch from another esport to VALORANT.
