Evil Geniuses sign valens as Head of data science

Following his departure from Cloud9 in October, Soham "valens" Chowdhury has now joined Evil Geniuses as their head of data science. 

This new position was the same role he had when he left his old organization. Before then, he was the team coach and is most known for Cloud9's ELEAGUE Major: Boston 2018 first-place finish. 

Upon leaving Cloud9, valens said in a statement that he would continue to focus on esports analytics to help make the industry sustainable, ethical, and more exciting, and his new position seems to be making good on that promise.

The 30-year-old Stanford graduate will handle data analytics for the top CS:GO team in support of coach Chet "ImAPet" Singh and in-game leader Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz's efforts to remain at the top.
