Evil Geniuses have seized the Beyond The Summit Pro Series Americas crown after defeating Quincy Crew 3:1 in the Grand Finals.

Evil Geniuses first met Quincy Crew in the Group Stage and lost 2:0. After a half-hour long first game, the second was over quickly as one of the shortest in the entire event. Quincy Crew passed through the first stage without losing a single game, while Evil Geniuses finished in third-place after losing three matches.

In the Upper Bracket Finals, both teams met again, and although Evil Geniuses put up a good fight, they lost once more to Qunicy Crew, 2:0. However, Evil Geniuses weren’t done trying just yet. Facing Thunder Predator in the Lower Bracket Finals, Evil Geniuses had a bit of a hard time securing the win, but the match eventually ended in their favor.

Advancing to the Grand Finals and their second rematch against Quincy Crew, Evil Geniuses did not relent. Things were different this time as Quincy Crew could only manage to win the first game. With the Grand Finals being best-of-five, Evil Geniuses defeated their rivals 3:1.

The victors went home with $21,000 while Quincy Crew received $11,000, Thunder Predator $6,500, and CR4ZY $4,500. Over on the BTS Pro Series Southeast Asia, Fnatic took the crown after beating TNC Predator 3:0.

Beyond The Summit Pro Series is an online tournament that ran from April 10-27, with a prize pool of $100,000 split between two divisions, Southeast Asia and the Americas.
