Evil Geniuses and MIBR qualify for ESL Pro League Finals

Evil Geniuses and MIBR have made it into the ESL Pro League Finals after topping their groups in the Americas event. 

Evil Geniuses defeated Complexity Gaming and eUnited 2-1. The team still has one more match to go against last-place team, Cloud9. No matter the outcome, Evil Geniuses will move on ahead. 

In Group A, all teams have played their matches. MIBR defeated Swole Patrol and Team Envy 2-0 but lost to FURIA 1-2. This earns them a spot in the Finals as well, while Swole Patrol gets relegated in 13th-16th place. 

Group C will commence its matches from October 14-16 and consists of the following teams:

• ATK

• Renegades 

• Team Liquid 

• Team Singularity 

Group D will follow from October 17-19, featuring the final four teams:

• DETONA Gaming

• Infinity Esports

• Isurus Gaming

• Sharks Esports

The second and third place teams from each group will move on to Group Stage 2, which will take place from November 13-18. Two winners will emerge from this stage to enter the Finals which will be held from December 3-8. Mousesports is the only European team to qualify for the Finals at present.
