EVE Online is sixteen years old

Do you know what day is it today? May the 4^th be with you, brothers and sisters, but we are not talking about THAT particular sci-fi universe. Instead, there’s a reason to celebrate the 16^th birthday of a completely different universe, although with spaceships and planets nonetheless.

It might be hard to believe, but the Excel simulator, best known as EVE Online, turns 16 years in two days. The developers from CCP Games have decided to celebrate the date for 16 days straight, and each one will bring the players new festive in-game stuff. These freebies can be acquired by any players regardless of their EVE Online status. Several skins and cosmetics are the examples of the rewards you’ll get by logging into the game in the course of a 16-days-long celebration. Both Alpha and Omega pilots will receive their packs of goodies, but it’s rather obvious that the festive rewards for premium Omega players are going to be a bit more special and valuable. Luckily, Alpha pilots can upgrade their status even after the celebration starts and get their hands over some high-quality stuff.
