ESL Pro League Season 11 will have 24 teams and a new format according to a report form DBLTAP. But, this change means that other teams who qualified through MDL or who are waiting in relegation will not be a part of the league unless they are the hand-selected 24. The ESL Pro League was originally going to be made up of 48 teams. There is no clear formula as to why certain teams were chosen over others. Teams who qualified for the league, but were not chosen will be granted a spot in the future MDL season.
