A few teams dropped out of ESL One Mumbai a week ago due to a schedule conflict with OGA Dota PIT Minor 2019. You can find more details on this page.
Format
When four teams dropped out of the tournament, ESL people had to think on their feet and switch the format to suit the new amount of participants. They settled with two GSL-style brackets which decide the seedings to the playoff stage.
Teams that lose the group stage go straight to the lower-bracket, the winners find themselves in the upper bracket.
Group A:
- Natus Vincere
- TNC Predator
- compLexity
- Team Team
Group B:
- Keen Gaming
- Mineski
- The Pango
- Signify
The playoff stage will be taking place on April 19-21.
Prize pool
The teams will be fighting for $300,000 and a Mercedes Benz. The later is given to the tournament MVP; usually, it’s a member of a team which makes it to the finals.
