During the first game day of ESL One Mumbai 2019, the eight participating teams managed to play both opening matches, as well as determine the strongest in the 'winners' clash.

Eight teams in the GSL group stage and Double Elimination playoffs will compete for a prize pool of $300.000. One of the title sponsors of the tournament is the automobile concern Mercedes-Benz.
