The South America ESL One Los Angeles 2020 Closed Qualifiers showed off some fierce competition in Group A, which resulted in the top three teams being tied at 5 points.
FURIA Esports achieved the same record as beastcoast, two wins, one draw, and one loss. As for Group B, Thunder Predator secured the top spot with 7 points. On their heels is paiN Gaming with 6 points, and NoPing e-sports come in third.
The 1st-3rd place tiebreaker will determine the two teams that will be heading to the Playoffs, while the last team will advance to the StarLadder ImbaTV Minor Season 3 South America Qualifier.

The first match of the Playoffs will have paiN Gaming face off against the winner of the 1st-3rd place tiebreaker. The second match of the day will have Thunder Predator play against the tiebreaker's second-place finish. The top two teams in the double-elimination best-of-three bracket will advance to the Major in Los Angeles while third and fourth place will instead qualify for the South America Minor Qualifier.
ESL One Los Angeles 2020 will take place from March 14-22 at Shrine Auditorium, Los Angeles, California. Sixteen teams will compete for a slice of the $1 million prize pool and 15,000 DPC points.
