ESL One Los Angeles Closed Qualifiers Day 2 — CIS

Day two of the ESL One Los Angeles 2020 CIS Closed Qualifiers changed up the standings in Groups A and B quite a bit from what we saw on day one.

Virtus.pro won all its matches in Group A to secure 8 points, followed by Cyber Legacy with 6 points and only one loss to the group leaders. Qualifying for the Playoffs in Group B, we have Natus Vincere with two wins and two draws while forZe and HellRaisers are tied with 4 points each. The winner of their tiebreaker match will move on to the playoffs while the loser will advance to the StarLadder ImbaTV Minor Season 3 CIS Qualifier. Gambit Esports secured the first seed to CIS Minor Qualifier.

In the ESL One Los Angeles 2020 CIS Closed Qualifiers Playoffs, Virtus.pro will face the winners of Group B's 2nd & 3rd place tiebreaker. Natus Vincere vs. Cyber Legacy will follow this match. The winners will advance to the Upper Bracket Finals while the losers will meet in Lower Bracket Round 1. All matches in the double-elimination bracket will be best-of-three, with the best two qualifying for the main event in Los Angeles while the losers proceed to the CIS Minor Qualifiers.

ESL One Los Angeles 2020 takes place from March 14-22 at Shrine Auditorium, Los Angeles, California. Sixteen teams will battle for the lion's share of a $1 million prize pool and 15,000 DPC points.
