Tight competition in Group B
The CIS Closed Qualifiers for ESL One Los Angeles 2020 began yesterday, with ten teams going up against each other in two best-of-two groups. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Playoffs while third place from each group heads to the StarLadder ImbaTV Minor Season 3 CIS Qualifier.
In Group A, we have the likes of Virtus.pro and Gambit Esports, while Group B has even more popular teams like HellRaisers, Natus Vincere, and forZe. Here are the day one results:

Day two of the closed qualifier is already underway, with Modus Unity defeating Unique Nova 2-0 in Group A and HellRaisers beating EXTREMUM 2-0 in Group B as well. Here's what the rest of today's matches look like:
ESL One Los Angeles 2020 will take place from March 14-22, in Los Angeles, with the LAN final hosted at the 6,300 capacity Shrine Auditorium. $1 million and 15,000 DPC points are on the line, hence the fierce competition at Stockholm to get in.
