First day of the CS:GO tournament in Katowice has come to an end and here are the match results.

From March 2-5 in Katowice, Poland, the final Intel Extreme Masters stopover of the season will include a $250,000+ CS:GO tournament with 12 teams in attendance.

Three matches were ending the day one and we can already jump to some conclusions.

First match saw

Natus Vincere fighting with
TheMongolz. Well, no one really expected anything of big surprise here. Guys from the Mongolian squad did their best during entire tournament but did not win a single match, unfortunately. "Born to win" did win a victory that let them stay aboard.

Next match was

Luminosity versus
NiP and to everyone's surprise it ended with the Brazilians losing, considering they lost zero matches before this one. Unfortunately, this win did not really help
NiP and they dropped out from the tournament.

In the third match

Fnatic clashed with
mousesports. The match was really intense and ran overtime. But in the end Swedes were stronger and knocked Germans out of the event by winning on de_dust2 with 19-17 score. It's worth mentioning Nikola "Niko" Kovač (42-28 K/D) who showed tremendously amazing game for mouz but it wasn't enough to break through to the quarterfinals.
