Tournament organizer EPICENTER has partnered with betting company Parimatch for the TO's upcoming CS:GO event.
Details regarding the deal have not been disclosed but the company has hinted at a couple of activities for players to enjoy. This isn't Parimatch's first interaction with esports either. The betting company has previously partnered with ESforce Holding, EPICENTER's parent company. The deal saw them launch a CIS-based Dota 2 league consisting of eight teams.
Parimatch head of esports, Stepan Shulga spoke on the partnership in a release:
“We have already created a unique CIS-based league thanks to our partnership with ESforce, but we are not stopping here. EPICENTER is a brilliant tournament featuring top-tier teams and increased viewer involvement, so we have prepared exciting activities for our players.”
The deal with EPICENTER appears to be an expansion of their partnership with Parimatch, but until the full details are shared, we cannot know for sure. This deal will also serve to strengthen their offering.
ESforce Holding commercial director, Sergey Barkhudaryan also spoke on the deal:
“Partnership with Parimatch became a stellar case of viewers enjoying a huge, emotionally fueled show, and partners appreciating sincere gratitude and high level of audience engagement. We are happy to take the next step in our partnership by greeting Parimatch as the official partner of our main event – the EPICENTER.”
CS:GO EPICENTER 2019 takes place from December 17-22 at Crocus Expo in Moscow, Russia. The tournament features eight teams competing for a $500,000 prize pool.
