EPICENTER Major — Day 6 Results ⚡⚡⚡ Esports and gaming news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!

After a one-day break, EPICENTER Major continued at CSKA Arena in Moscow. Six teams decided their fate on the big stage in front of the audience, and one of them earned the right to go to The International.

Several thousand Dota 2 fans came to watch the world-class game, and bad Friday weather didn't scare them. The EPICENTER Major organizers decided for the first time to make a scene in the 360 degrees format, and the audience had the opportunity to see the game from every corner of the twelve-thousandths CSKA Arena.

A four-minute video was the opening ceremony, and there were a lot of references to several movies, the most famous of which is, perhaps, Oldboy.

PSG.LGD - OG match was the first. The European team got to the game in front of a broad audience, and the reaction of the viewers to Sébastien "Ceb" Debs was expectedly ambiguous.

There was no fair fight. Topson had a hard time on the first map - Maybe with xNova knocked him down completely, and JerAx died seven times in the first 14 minutes. Ana made a large number of unforced errors on Morphling on the second map. Sockshka tried to create space for his team, but he died 24 times, and there was no team play in OG's actions. The Chinese team did what they were supposed to, and won the match with the score 2:0.

We wrote a separate article for the Alliance - Gambit Esports match, so we only say that the victory of the Swedes was deserved.

Finally, the confrontation between Team Liquid and Vici Gaming ended the gaming day. The meeting was a combat one, and all three maps were needed to determine the winner. At the same time, the scenario of each game was approximately the same: the teams were equal at the laning stage after that one of the teams took the advantage at the 15th/20th minute and didn't let go their opponent. Vici Gaming was such a team twice. They became the first grand finalist of the tournament.

There are six teams left at EPICENTER Major, and today we are waiting for three matches for elimination.
