Epic Esports Events have announced that the 2019 CS:GO EPICENTER event will take place at Crocus Expo Hall in Moscow from December 17-22. Eight teams will compete for a total prize pool $500,000.

Five of the eight teams competing in the tournament will be by direct invitation, while the remaining three will earn their spots through the China, CIS and Europe qualifiers. 2018’s runners-up Natus Vincere and semifinalists AVANGAR have already received invitations alongside newcomers, Evil Geniuses and Team Vitality. Although the prize has increased from last year, it was the same amount in the 2016 and 2017 editions.

The European two-stage qualifiers will be held from October 28-31, while the CIS open and closed qualifier events will follow from November 21-24. No details have emerged regarding the Chinese qualifier for now.

As for the main tournament, the Group Stage will run from December 17-19. The Playoffs will then follow at the Crocus Expo Hall from December 21-22. The format to be used also hasn't been shared yet.

Fans interested in attending the event can purchase tickets right now at EPICENTER’s website here. Prices range from 900₽ ($14.12) for Saturday’s day pass to a maximum of 5900₽ ($92.57) with the Global Elite full pass.
