Server issues are nothing new to online games, but when it's one of the most popular games around, they affect far more players than the average. In a move to help keep players informed, Epic Games have launched a Fortnite Status Twitter account.
This service is long overdue, but at least it's here now. The service will post about the server’s status across the world, letting players know when their regions are down and other related issues.
The account reports when issues arise in a region and how Epic plans to remedy the problem. Once fixed, players are informed of the server status. The account also provides links to the developer’s status page for its other platforms and a support page for those that need to contact Epic.
There's even a Trello board pinned to the Twitter page which lists the current issues they're working on, and how serious they are. It also includes workarounds and fixes with links to more information regarding the problems faced.
