Epic Games announces Fortnite and Air Jordan collaboration ⚡⚡⚡ Esports and gaming news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!

Epic Games posted a message in the official Twitter account hinting at the upcoming collaboration of Fortnite and Air Jordan, the game itself had a more definite image:

The details of the event have become known today. As expected, the Battle Royale will receive an additional temporary mode "Downtown Drop" and a set of two skins: Grind Outfit and Clutch Outfit. Players are invited to compete in coins collection with the use of skateboards and jumps.

You can see Air Jordan 1 Chicago and Air Jordan 1 Lakers in the trailer, but there's not a single hint for the release of a pair of shoes from these two brands. At the moment, the chances of such cooperation look extremely low, even despite fans' wishes, because Jordan rarely works on joint products with third-party companies or stars, especially those unrelated to the world of fashion and basketball. In recent years, only Off-White, Patta, Supreme, Kaws, Travis Scott and Union have had a hand on the "numbered Jordans" If however, Epic Games succeeds in reaching an agreement with the sporting giant, this coalition will indeed become unprecedented for the sneaker culture.
