Envy gets karrigan for the IEM Katowice Major series ⚡⚡⚡ Esports and gaming news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!

Finn "karrigan" Andersen will be playing for Team Envy in IEM Katowice Major instead of Matt "Pollo" Wilson . According to the official sources, FaZe Clan will loan karrigan , but it might not be a permanent arrangement.

On December 31st karrigan posted a tweet noting that he wished to compete in the IEM Katowice Major with a very curious word choice:

The “envy” part of the tweet made the fans suspect that he won’t sit this one out after all. Sure enough, next day Team Envy made the official announcement:

The “inactive” status of karrigan has been very short-lived, and it’s no surprise considering how accomplished the player is. Although formally he remains bound to FaZe Clan, karrigan could switch to Team Envy completely if he has a deep run in the IEM Katowice tournament series.

Here is the current active roster of Team Envy:

  • Taylor “Drone” Johnson
  • Steven “reltuC” Cutler
  • Noah “Nifty” Francis
  • Josh “jdm64” Marzano
  • Finn “karrigan” Andersen

The first trial of this squad will take place on January 22 when they compete in Americas Minor. The team needs to win it or at least make the second place to be qualified for The New Challengers Stage and keep on fighting in the IEM Katowice Major circuit.
