Indian esports organisation Entity Gaming has announced the creation of its new all-female PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Mobile team, named Entity.Athena.
Taking inspiration from the Greek goddess of wisdom and War Athena, the project hopes to motivate existing and aspiring female esports pros in India. Its activities will hopefully inspire a stronger female presence in the country's esports scene.
Entity.Athena's PUBG Mobile roster consists of Kat, Kesha, Quinn and Sneha. They become Indian's first premier organisation to enter the PUBG Mobile scene.
Entity Gaming also has Dota 2 and CS:GO rosters that compete across Asia. Its aim is to help grow the esports industry and create new paths in the gaming ecosystem.
