Enjoy the Yoshi’s Crafted World story trailer

Players waiting for Yoshi’s Crafted World release got a new treat from Nintendo today in the form of a trailer featuring the backstory of the game. According to the video, there is a gem-set stone that can grant you your wildest dreams. Unfortunately, Kamek and Baby Bowser tried to steal the stone and broke it in the process: the gems are scattered all over the world, and Yoshi with his friends need to restore the fabled artifact.

It feels like the plot borrows the idea from The Avengers where Kamek and Baby Bowser are on the hunt for the Infinity Stones.

Yoshie is a green creature that reminds of a dinosaur from the Mario universe. He made his first appearance in Super Mario World in 1990 and in 1991 Yoshie received its first own game. Yoshi’s Crafted World is the newest addition to the game roster around this character; it is a platformer with a 2.5D setting and dual play support.
