Chinese esports organization ViCi Gaming announced today the formation of the Chinese DOTA2 Professional Club Association. The new body consists of eight teams with the goal of hosting online tournaments during the coronavirus outbreak.

As many across the world practice social distancing, gaming has become one of the many ways different communities have chosen to bond and provide support to those in countries heavily affected by the pandemic. The CDA’s events will provide a safe way for fans to enjoy the content they enjoy so much while also ensuring that players and their teams remain in top form.

The members of the Chinese DOTA2 Professional Club Association are:

  • ViCi Gaming

  • PSG.LGD

  • Invictus Gaming

  • Team Aster

  • Royal Never Give Up

  • EHOME

  • Newbee

  • Keen Gaming

The format of the upcoming online tournaments will be announced at a later date. All games will be broadcast on multiple streaming platforms.
