E3 2019: Konami announced the PC Engine CoreGrafx Mini ⚡⚡⚡ Esports and gaming news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!

Konami joins the “mini” bandwagon with the reveal of its own miniature retro consoles. North America will receive the TurboGrafx 16, Europe will get the PC Engine CoreGrafx Mini and Japan will get the PC Engine Mini. Each mini console will retain their original look and colour. 

Six games have been announced with the Japanese PC Engine mini getting a different lineup from that of Europe and North America. More games have been promised, but those revealed are, 

North America & Europe games

  • R-Type

  • New Adventure Island 

  • Ninja Spirit 

  • Ys Book I & II

  • Alien Crush

  • Dungeon Explorer

Japan games

  • Bonk’s Adventure 

  • Dracula X (Castlevania: Rondo of Blood) 

  • The King Fu

  • Ys I & II

  • Super Star Soldier

  • Dungeon Explorer

The mini consoles will come with different display modes like one that emulates a CRT TV. There will also be quick saves and 5-way multiplayer via a multitap accessory. No release date has been announced.
