DreamLeague Season 11 - Playoff Day 2 recap ⚡⚡⚡ Esports and gaming news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!

Yesterday's DreamLeague Season 11 Major match results can easily seem like a nightmare. Couldn’t Team Secret, Virtus.pro and Evil Geniuses lose their debut matches in the Playoffs, and did Team Liquid was beaten out from the tournament?

Nevertheless, the third major of the current season turned the professional scene upside down, and Team Liquid showed the worst result in two years.

Lower Bracket Round 1 [bo1]

Ninjas in Pyjamas 1:0 Forward Gaming

Team Liquid 0:1 Chaos Esports Club

Lower Bracket Round 1 [bo3]

Evil Geniuses 1:2 Keen Gaming

Virtus.pro 0:2 Fnatic

Roman “Resolut1on” Fominok and his Forward Gaming left the tournament, following Natus Vincere and EHOME. Next, Team Liquid managed to lose a bo1 game to Chaos Esports Club outsiders. The Brazilians were able to win only one map throughout the tournament: it happened in the “losers” Group D match, Chaos EC played against NAVI, and they lost the series with the score 1:2.

But that wasn't enough for this unpredictable Major: Keen Gaming threw Evil Geniuses to the Lower Bracket. Now Arthur wouldn’t mind his "the third place curse."

The turn of Virtus.pro has come, and we all sighed - well, this team won’t lose, and this crazy evening will at least end properly. But Fnatic gave a one-hour dry (2:0) series - and we remained speechless.

What awaits us today? Gabe only knows. We are not sure about anything except the schedule:

Lower Bracket Round 2 [bo3]

13:30 CET Mineski vs  J.Storm

16:30 CET —  Team Secret vs Infamous
