One of the organizers of Dreamhack tournaments shared some interesting information in his twitter. According to Mike Winther, management of the swedish organization is going to provide $1,000,000 specifically for the Counter Strike: Global Offensive tournament that will take place in 2016.

Dreamhack tournaments are always considered the biggest esports events of the year and rightfully so! Because they gather all the best teams from all over the world.

Recently, Dreamhack Winter 2015 ended with Fnatic taking home $100,000 and the champions title.

At the moment it's unclear whether this $1,000,000 is planned to be split over several tournaments or to serve as the first season prize. But we can surely say that the entire CS:GO grows stronger each day as well as their prize funds which is a plus for everyone!
