DreamHack has announced more information about the ZOWIE Open circuit for 2016.

The DreamHack Open event circuit, sponsored by ZOWIE, will span five worldwide spots, starting with the tournament in Leipzig, later this month.

With $100,000 at stake in each event, DreamHack ZOWIE Open will give away a total of $500,000, on top of the $500,000 that will be at stake at the two Masters events, which were announced last week.

Each stop will also feature a similar tournament format, with eight teams split into two GSL groups and the top two sides from each group advancing to the single-elimination playoffs.

Below you can find the dates for the Open circuit:

  •  DreamHack Leipzig - January 22-24
  •  DreamHack Austin - May 6-8
  •  DreamHack Summer - June 18-21
  •  TBA - Dates and location to be announced
  •  DreamHack Winter - November 24-27

The prize distribution for these events looks as follows:

5-6. $3,000
7-8. $2,000
