DreamHack Open Rio 2019: Day 2 results ⚡⚡⚡ Esports and gaming news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!

The first day of DreamHack Open presented a surprise, when Valiance couldn't beat Sharks Esports, and it was interesting to know what the second day would be.

Let's start with Group B. Both meetings were held without any intrigue. W7M Gaming defeated Redemption (16:0 on Overpass, 16:8 on Inferno), but they couldn’t oppose Valiance (7:16 on Inferno, 8:16 on Nuke). Thus, our prediction of an easy battle for AVANGAR didn’t come true:

The main favourites of DreamHack Open Rio will get back together in the semifinals.

Sharks Esports and second place in Group A FURIA Esports will meet in the other semifinal. The scenario of matches in this quartet was somewhat similar: the same two "dry" matches, only the "furious" had to win four maps in a row. The Brazilian team had some difficulties in the match with eUnited (16:13 on Inferno, 16:8 on Nuke), but there was fail with INTZ eSports (16:3 on Nuke, 16:4 on Train).

Three matches will be played on the final day of DreamHack Open Rio:

  • Sharks Esports vs FURIA Esports - 15:00 CEST
  • AVANGAR vs Valiance - 18:00 CEST
  • Final - 22:00 CEST

We remind you that the LAN-final of Forge of Masters. WePlay! League will begin on May 3. Four teams will compete for the final prize: AVANGAR, HellRaisers, Vega Squadron and DreamEaters. You should be there. It will be fun!
