If you weren’t already excited for the sixth version of Goku coming to Dragon Ball FighterZ, then the new launch trailer should do the trick. Especially for fans of the Dragon Ball Super anime.
The trailer shows Goku battling against Kefla in the game’s glorious 2.5d graphics before switching to his match intro with Jiren. The video wouldn’t be complete without showing off more of Ultra Instinct Goku’s moves, and for cinematic effect, he does so fighting the character that pushed him to the point of acquiring this power.
Sticking with the lore, Bandai Namco included the instrumental version of the anime’s insert song, “Kyuukyoku no Battle.” The iconic track was first played in Dragon Ball Super when Goku first achieved Ultra Instinct. For those interested in getting it, the song was released for the game in the Anime Music Pack 2 DLC back in 2018.
Three more characters remain in the Dragon Ball FighterZ Pass 3, with Kefla being the first and Ultra Instinct Goku, the second. The upcoming character arrives on May 22, but those that own FighterZ Pass 3 will receive the Saiyan two days sooner.
