Dragon Ball FighterZ hits 5 million copies in worldwide sales ⚡⚡⚡ Esports news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!
Dragon Ball FighterZ launched in January 2018, and by February, the game had sold 2 million copies, making it the fastest-selling game in the franchise. Fast forward two years and the game has more than doubled that figure.
Bandai Namco's fighting game has now sold over 5 million copies of Dragon Ball FighterZ worldwide. This sales figure includes both physical and digital sales. In October 2018, sales had reached 3.5 million, but a year after, sales had slowed down to the tune of 4 million. It would appear that this year's Dragon Ball FighterZ World Cup and the big Season 3 update were able to give the game one big push in sales.

Dragon Ball FighterZ still has a lot to offer fans after releasing FighterZ Pass 3 on February 28 alongside Kefla. Ultra Instinct Goku comes to the game tomorrow, May 22, but he's already available for fans that already own the season pass, and three more characters remain to be revealed in FighterZ Pass 3.
