Once Apex Legends had released, a huge number of streamers and video content creators turned their attention to the project, and some even participated in the official promotional campaign, having received payment from Electronic Arts for broadcasting. All this (and the hype, of course) led to the game's total 50 million unique users per month. But now the excitement is already beginning to fade.
The fact is that the content of the first Battle Pass season and the awards for its progression are not too large-scaled, and both users and some opinion leaders had time to complain about the monotony of the project. DrDisrespect is among them, one of the most popular people on Twitch in the multiplayer shooter segment.
DrDisrespect reported that he had already experienced all the possibilities of Apex Legends and feels tired of the game, mainly due to the lack of content. The Battle Pass in its current form does not raise much hope in the streamer's point of view, and the game looks like it will have an interesting development, in the long run, rather being a quick spark. He thinks that Battle Pass is a temporary attempt to keep the newfound community.
It seems that the problem can be solved only by introducing more modes, maps and legends, but Respawn is not in a hurry to disclose plans for this product. What do you think will save this game? Will it become a true Fortnite/PUBG competitor on worldwide arena?
