Popular Twitch streamer, Guy "Dr Disrespect" Beahm recently tweeted his interest in hosting his first Call of Duty: Modern Warfare tournament. He wants it to be a Code Red tournament on BOOM.TV with a $100,000 prize pool. Considering he is an advisor for the organisation, there's a high probability that it could happen.

His tweet received a lot of attention. Especially after he asked interested CoD streamers and pros to contact him. He received numerous replies, with FaZe Clan’s Austin "Pamaj" Pamajewon and Douglas "Censor" Martin just two names on the list. As of writing, the tweet has over 1,000 retweets and 22,000 likes.

Nothing has been confirmed yet, but with Dr Disrespect's influence, along with the huge interest the event has gained, could all help make it possible. Code Red tournaments are typically known for bringing personalities together to compete, similar to Twitch Rivals

His tournament will definitely stand out though, if it's green lit. That's because of his unique and slightly weird game rules. All duos will have a single player on PC and console each. He could have even weirder rules added in the future, but that remains to be seen.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be released on October 25, so the tournament won't be taking place anytime soon.
