The first Minor of DPC 2019/2020 took place from November 7-10 in Los Angeles. DOTA Summit 11 had eight teams compete for $300,000 and 660 points.
In attendance were teams that all made it through the DOTA Summit 11 regional qualifiers after failing to secure a direct seed into MDL Chengdu Major. Invictus Gaming managed to take first place, winning the final Major seed and $72,000.
Group stage
The first bracket had iG, jfshfh178, Ninjas in Pyjamas, and paiN Gaming in Group A. While Group B had Chaos Esports Club, HellRaisers, Geek Fam and Ad Finem facing each other.
Group A
iG came out at the top of its group with two wins, losing only one game to jfshfh178, who took second place. NiP played three matches but only managed to defeat paiN Gaming, who played only two matches and lost both.

Group B
In Group B, Chaos Esports Club also won both their matches but did not lose a single game in either series. HellRaisers took second place with two wins and one loss to Chaos Esports Club, while Geek Fam came third, leaving Ad Finem at the bottom with no wins.

Playoffs
Chaos Esports Club kicked off the Upper Bracket Round 1 with their match against jfshfh178, which they won, 2-0. The second match of the day had iG play HellRaisers in which iG won 2-1.
On the last day of the event, iG played Chaos Esports Club in the Upper Bracket Finals. The match ended 2-0 in favor of iG. Meanwhile, in the Lower Bracket, jfshfh178 lost to HellRaisers in Round 1, only for HellRaisers to lose to Chaos Esports Club 0-2 in the Lower Bracket Finals.
Chaos Esports Club and iG met once more in the Grand Finals, but try as the former did, they failed to get revenge on iG. The first game ended quickly in 23 minutes, but with each game, Chaos Esports Club put up a better fight. Sadly, they failed to win a single game as iG won all three first games in the best-of-five.
iG secured 140 DPC points in addition to the prize money. The Chinese team moves on to MDL Chengdu Major, which takes place this weekend on November 16. They will face 16 other squads in the $1 million prize pool event.
