Dota 2 - Which Heroes work well with Sven?

Introduction

Sven is one of those carry heroes that doesn't really seem the light of day that much, at least in the last couple of patches. However, this doesn't mean that he is a bad hero. On the contrary, Sven is one of the biggest physical damage dealers in the game, which is why he definitely has what it takes to rip through the enemies. 

That said, this hero always had one problem, and that's kiting. With proper items, the enemy team can easily kite him around and now allow him to do anything. That's why it's important to have certain heroes with him that can allow him to shine in these moments.

Magnus

Magnus is the best companion for Sven, period. The hero already has a broken cleave mechanic, and when you add Empower to the picture, the situation is just out of control. 

In order for Sven to deal damage, he has to actually hit his enemies. That's why this hero is very good because thanks to his ult, he can keep the enemy long enough to allow Sven to kill them.

Omniknight

The second hero that's really good alongside Sven is Omniknight. This probably doesn't come as a surprise because Repel is one of the best friendly spells in the game. It allows Sven to completely go "loco" and swing his giant sword. This combo was extremely popular a couple of patches ago but now, it's not that picked.

Crystal Maiden

CM is a pretty good hero to stay in a lane with because she has a slow, as well as a stun. Both of these spells will allow Sven to chase down his enemy and kill him. To make matters worse for the enemy hero, Sven himself also has a stun.

Of course, there are many other heroes that can work well with Sven, such as Lich, Enigma, Tidehunter, and so on.
