Dota 2 - Which Heroes work well with Spectre?

Introduction

Dota 2 has a couple of heroes that can become late-game monsters. Some of them are very strong on their own, whereas others can work wonders in conjunction with certain heroes. However, there are a couple of heroes located "in-between", and one of them is Spectre. Often known as one of the hardest carries in the world, Spectre is capable of doing tons of damage, especially when she gets the proper items.

Having said that, let's take a look at a couple of heroes that can work very well with this beast.

Zeus

Zeus and Spectre used to be one of the strongest meta combos a couple of years ago. Although these two heroes have nothing in common at first sight, their global ults are more than enough to cause havoc during a team fight, especially later on.  As a result, these two heroes can pretty much carry their entire team. Sadly, this combo was nerfed many times throughout the years and it's not as strong as it used to be.

Magnus

Similar to any other melee hero, one of the biggest friends that you can have is Magnus. Thanks to Empower, Spectre's farming speed is increased dramatically because she is not really the fastest farmer in the world. Of course, let's also not forget about RP, which is more than enough to secure a very important kill in the later stages of the game.

Ancient Apparition

AA is very similar to Zeus in terms of how he works with Spectre. However, his ult is a bit trickier to land but when it does land, it deals tons of damage and neglects healing, which can be game-changing in many scenarios. The only real downside of this hero is that he is pretty squishy, which makes him prone to feed.
