Dota 2 - Which Heroes work well with Luna?

Introduction

Luna is one of the carries in Dota 2 that's famous for being one of the fastest pushers. However, apart from being good at pushing, this hero is also capable of dealing loads of magical damage, especially with the right items. 

Having said that, in order to make the most out of the hero, you need to have the right hero combinations. You see, regardless of how much damage it does, Luna is not your typical carry in terms of how it works. She needs some serious backup in order to be effective, especially against some enemies. With that out of the way, here are some heroes that work very well with her.

Shadow Demon

This is one of the most popular and also easiest Dota 2 combinations that are extremely annoying to playing against. Thanks to Shadow Demon's ability to create illusions, Luna and push the enemy towers in just a matter of seconds. as you know, each illusion benefits from Luna's second ability, which makes pushing really deadly.

In fact, these two heroes used to be extremely popular with each other back a couple of patches ago. However, IceFrog thought that they are just a bit too strong together, which is why he decided to unleash the nerf hammer. As a result, the combo now is not nearly as deadly as it used to be, but it's still pretty legit.

Storm Spirit

The second hero that works well with Luna is Strom Spirit. This combo might seem a bit strange at first but it works whenever Luna buys an Aghanim Scepter. You see, she can always use the ult on Storm, allowing him to jump in and just caused havoc on the backlinks. 

Ogre Magi

Ogre is one of the best supports when it comes down to laning with Luna because he has all the skills he needs to make her life better. Thanks to the stun and slow, these two heroes can easily kill the offlaner at least two or three times during the laning stage. Then, once it's over, Bloodlust becomes one of the best buffs in the game, and it does wonders on heroes, such as Luna.
