Dota 2 - Which heroes should buy a Helm of the Dominator?

Introduction

A Helm of the Dominator is one of those items that have a huge impact but only during the early stages of the game. Once that's over, the item isn't really all that strong, so it just comes down to the right timing in order to make the most out of it. Having said that, if you haven't played Dota 2 for a while, it's important to note that the item is completely changed. It doesn't provide Lifesteal anymore but instead, it gives stats, however, it also has the same effect as before.

Let's take a look at some of the heroes that can benefit the most from this item.

Beastmaster

We can safely say that one of the heroes who benefits the most from a Helm of the Dominator is Beastmaster. Thanks to his ability, Dominator works very well and allows BM to become of of the strongest pushers in the game. What's more, this item also gives him a better chance to kill you in his ultimate because there will be one more source of damage.

Chen

The second hero that is also known for having a lot of pushing power is Chen. Similar to BM, an early Helm of the Dominator can make all the difference in the world, especially in the early skirmishes.

Enchantress

Despite the fact that the most recent patch completely changed the way Enchantress plays the game, she is still one of those heroes that can benefit a lot from a Helm of the Dominator. Sure, leveling Impetus right now might seem the way to go, but this meta is probably going to switch back to the classic enchantress-jungle yet again at some point.
