Introduction
There are a couple if situation items in Dota 2 that not every hero wants to buy. One of those items is Boots of Travel, the item that provides the most movement speed in the game. However, because it's pretty expensive, many heroes tend to either buy it really later on or no buy it at all.
Having said that, there are a couple of heroes that really like to buy this item early on because it completely transforms the way in which they play. Let's take a look at them and see how the magic happens.
Tinker
Tinker is definitely the hero that benefits the most from Boots of Travel, which is why this is the first big item that the hero gets. Thanks to it, Tinker can move around all the time and push the waves, while also farming at the same time.
Even though there are constantly new patches and changes happening, we haven't seen a Tinker build without this item yet.
Ember Spirit
The second hero who benefits the most from having Boots of Travel is Ember Spirit. Even though item is not really a must like on Tinker, it still helps the hero become a lot more mobile and strong during team fights. Apart from just more movement speed to run and chanse enemies, BoT also gives Ember the ability to splitpush like crazy, which can be very useful, especially when your team is not doing all that well.
Invoker
Last, but definitely not least, we have Invoker. The "one-man" army hero also benefits a lot from having Boots of Travel because he becomes incredibly hard to deal with, especially when he gets a couple more items. Similra to Ember Spirit, Invoker is also capalbe of splitpushing a lot, which is easily done with Boots of Travel, especially when the item does not share any cooldown with the regular Teleport Scroll.
