Everyone loves to play hard heroes because they are just more interesting, at least in most cases. However, what if you're a new player or you're someone who just wants to play something for fun without investing too much time an effort?
Regardless of which situation you find yourself in, Dota 2 has a couple of heroes that will definitely do the job. Some of them are extremely easy to play, whereas others might require you to play at least a couple of games before you can get a good idea of how they work.
Let's dive in.
Even though Wraith King is often underestimated, this hero can be amazing in certain situations, which is why you can often see him being picked. Despite the fact that this hero has only two active spells, one of which is pretty much like a passive, there are many people who love to play with him.
WK is often picked as a counter to many heroes, especially those that are highly explosive. Due to his incredible ultimates, WK has basically a free Aegis of Immortality, which allows him to be very strong in the later stages of the game.
Another hero that can be considered as noob-friendly is Phantom Assassin. Similar to WK, this pesky hero is very easy to start playing because she is capable of doing some serious damage. However, the thing that makes PA a little bit harder than WK is that she is very squishy. In other words, the problem here is not doing damage, it's surviving. Sure, you can always purchase defensive items such as a Black King Bar or something else in this regard, however, if your enemies are good, you can easily get kited, which is definitely something that you need to avoid.
Last, but definitely not least, we have Spirit Breaker, a hero that's capable of making the life of every mid laner a living hell. SB is often considered as one of the most "YOLO" heroes in Dota 2 thanks to his nature. He is capable of doing some serious damage early on and pressure all lanes, which is why he is one of the most popular pub picks.
As if the damage is not enough, Spirit Breaker is also very tanky, which allows him to easily dive the enemies under their towers even early on. Needless to say, this means that he is great at securing difficult kills.
