Dota 2 - When should we gank the offlaner?

Introduction

Dota 2 is a game where every single position counts. However, some teams often forget about the offlaners because they automatically presume that their team will win this lane. While this s true in most cases, there are scenarios where this just doesn't work. As a result, you end up with carry and a support who are underleveled and underfarmed, which means that they are basically useless in the mid-game. In order to avoid this, you have to try and gank that lane. 

Here are some situations in which this can be a pretty good idea.

Gank the lane whenever you get a good rune

Regardless if you're a mid laner or roaming support, it's always good to get a rune. If that rune happens to be a Haste or a Double Damage and it's close to the lane where the enemy offlaner is, you can go and kill him pretty easily, so always be on the lookout for that. In most cases, offlaner tend to overextend a lot, especially in the lower MMR brackets. As a result, you can get a pretty fast kill.

Gank specific heroes

Similar to any other position in Dota 2, there are certain heroes that are a lot more dangerous than others. So, whenever your team has to play against some of them, such as Timbersaw for example, it's always a good idea to try and gank him from time to time. Do not underestimate the power of these heroes because they have what it takes to win the game for their teams.

Keep killing him over and over

One of the worst things that can happen to a Dota 2 player is to get tilted. Whenever this happens, players start playing really randomly and in most cases, they just feed. One of the easiest ways in which you can tilt a Dota player is if he is an offlaner and you kill him all the time. Sooner or later, he will start raging and just go on the lane to die.
