Introduction
Dota 2 is a game that has a couple of stages that can be described as early game, mid game, late game, and ultra late game. While the first three stages are typical for the vast majority of Dota 2 games, that's not the case with the ultra late game. It usually depends on the meta but in most cases, getting to ultra late game is doesn't happen all that often. So, if you're new to the game and you find yourself in a situation like this, chances are that you won't know what to do.
That's why we decided to highlight a couple of important things you need to avoid doing in the ultra-late game.
Don't farm alone
Even though this goes without saying, it's still one of the most common mistakes that people do. Ulta late game is a time where you die in just a matter of seconds. So, the last thing you want is to get picked off alone while farming gold that you don't actually need.
Don't do random ganks
Another important thing to do is to buy as much Smokes of Deceit and then use them to gank your enemies. At this stage of the game, every single kill can potentially be game-winning, so keep that in mind. The last thing you want to do is just try to gank without using any helping method. Needless to say,
Don't sell items that have a disable
Last, but definitely not least, do not attempt to sell any items that have some sort of disable. This is a very common mistake that basically everyone makes. Instead of keeping the items that have a disable, people just sell them and buy damage items instead. This is not a wise thing to do because nearly all heroes are six-slotted by this point. In other words, the damage is there, so you just need to get as much disable as possible.
