Dota 2 - What heroes is Slardar good against?

Introduction

Slardar is a hero that is really diverse in terms of the positions that he can fill in. Even though he is mostly known as an offlaner, he is also capable of carrying the team whenever it's needed. What's more, there are even people who use him as a support and to our surprise, he does pretty well in this department as well. 

Apart from doing a lot of damage, Slardar is actually a known counter to many heroes. Needless to stay, the main reason for that is his ultimate, which removes loads of armor. With that said, here are some of the heroes that he is petty good against.

Bounty Hunter

One of the heroes that's really suffering against Slardar is Bounty Hunter. As you know, this hero needs the element of surprise in order to be effective, which he accomplishes by using his invisibility. However, when Slardar puts his ultimate on him, the entire enemy team will be able to see BH, which will make him a lot less effective. 

Riki

The second hero on this list is Riki and the situation here is pretty much the same as with BH. However, Riki is even more dependable on his instability, which is why Slardar is widely considered as the biggest counter. Not long ago, Riki was one of the top carries in the meta, which is why Slardar got banned pretty often.

Clinkz

Up next, we have the third hero that's mainly dependable on his instability, and that's Clinkz. Similar to the rest, Bone Fletcher uses his ability either to escape or chase the enemies. However, once he gets that ultimate, he won't be able to do either of those things because everyone will see him.

Pudge

The last hero that's on this list is Pudge, and that's due to the fact that he has very low armor. As a result, once he gets ulted, he will die really fast, especially if there are heroes that have Desolator. Luckily, there are not that many heroes that rush this item. Having said that, it's probably a good idea to buy a few items that will provide some sort of armor. After all, you will want to survive at least for a few seconds so that your team can help you.
