Dota 2 - What heroes is Nyx Assassin good against?

Introduction

Nyx Assassin doesn't really fit in the Dota 2 meta that's been popular in the last couple of years. As a result, the hero is mainly picked as a way to counter specific Dota 2 heroes. He is so strong in certain matchups that you can even see him in the highest-level pub games. So, here are some of the heroes that have to be scared of the pesky assassin.

Invoker

The first hero that has to be on the lookout happens to be one of the best mid laners in Dota 2. Invoker is a hero that can decide the course of a game, however, this is pretty much impossible whenever he has to lane against Nyx. Due to his Mana Burn, Invoker will always be on low HP and mana. What's more, Nyx's third skill also allows him to easily dodge the deadly combo and stun his enemy instead.

Tinker

The second hero that's on this list is yet another spellcaster. However, in this case, Tinker is even more vulnerable in comparison to Invoker because he has less HP. Similar to the previous matchup, a few Mana burns are everything that Nyx needs in order to make Tinker's laning stage a living hell. What's more, even after that, the hero always needs to be careful of Nyx's stun because one wrong move could mean the end for Tinker.

Zeus

This one probably won't come as a surprise, but Zeus is another hero that just doesn't stand a chance in this match up. Despite the fact that he has a lot of range, Mana Burn is just too strong.

Ember Spirit

The last hero on our list is Ember Spirit and here, the situation is a little bit different. Unlike the other heroes who're just getting demolished by Mana Burn, the main Problem that Ember has to deal with is the stun. As you know, this is one of the heroes that's really squishy and relies on his incredible mobility. So, whenever there are enemies that can disable him long enough, things can quickly change for the worse for him. So, each Ember Player has to be really careful when he's playing against Nyx.

Apart from that, the occasional Mana Burns is also something worth pointing out, especially in the laning stage.
