Introduction
Dota 2's newest patch just landed and it changed Dota 2 once again. Many of the "stronger" heroes were nerfed, whereas others were buffed in order to make the game more appealing once more. However, there are some heroes that got radically changed, and one of them is Ursa.
Instead of doing bonus damage with her ult, this spell now provides 50% magic resistance. In order to compensate for that, Valve decided to buff the Fury Swipes damage significant, which made Ursa even stronger. Here are our thought about it.
Ursa is a beast of a laner
This is one of those heroes that was always a good laner. However, after the recent changes, this hero is better than ever. Ursa can easily zone out pretty much any melee hero from the lane, which is a huge plus. When you pair her with a hero that has a stun or some other way of keeping the enemy in place, Ursa, can easily burst him down in just a matter of seconds. Of course, the reduced cooldown of Overpower also helps here.
You need to buy that Blink Dagger ASAP
Many new players fail to understand that Ursa's power is in her ability to shine early on. As a result, this hero has to have a good start in order to dominate later on in the game. The easiest way of achieving this if you buy a Blink Dagger as soon as possible. By doing this, you can get easy kills early on and snowball out of control. However, some people tend to go for lifesteal first, which is also fine, depending on what type of game you're in. However, Blink Dagger is usually a better opinion out of the two.
Final verdict - Ursa is stronger than before
Even though you might feel as if Ursa is not as strong as before, that's not the case at all. On the contrary, the hero is extremely deadly and can punish any mistake from the enemy. Sure, her burst damage might not be as much as it used to, but the overall damage is significantly more.
