Today Valve released Dota 2 update 7.24b, which makes just a couple of gameplay changes to items and Heroes. Snapfire, Slardar, and Tiny receive the most changes, with all the heroes getting hit with the nerf hammer.

Items

Only five items are touched in this patch, reducing the chain lightning bounce distance for both Maelstrom and Mjollnir from 900 to 650. Magic resistance and Diffusal Blade also see reductions while Desolator receives a damage increase from 50 to 60 and a drop in armor reduction from 7 to 6.

Heroes

Slardar gets the most attention in this patch, which has Corrosive Haze reduced to 8/13/18, Bash of the Deep damage reduced to 50/100/150/200, and Guardian Sprint’s mana cost changed to 25. Snapfire also gets Mortimer Kisses’damage reduced, and Firesnap Cookie stun duration dropped too.

Tiny’s Grow armor has now been reduced to 10/16/22, while Toss’ cast range changes from 1000/1100/1200/1300 to 850/1000/1150/1300. Other Heroes nerfed in 7.24b are Void Spirit, Timbersaw, Puck, Nyx Assassin, Lifestealer, IO, Huskar, Enchantress, and Batrider. These changes essentially make patch 7.24b the one with all the nerfs.
