Dota 2: Three tips to avoid getting tilted

Introduction

Dota 2 is a wonderful game that can keep you entertained for hours. However, what if the game is not going as planned? In most cases, unless you're playing with your friends, you or one of your teammates start doing questionable moves, spams, and overall game ruining that leads to a state used in poker - "being tilted".

Unfortunately, it is very hard to recover when something like this happens. That's why it is important to remember a couple of things so that you don't end up in such a situation.

Every game is winnable

Even if you don't believe this, every Dota 2 is winnable, especially in the lower MMR brackets. In a meta where one big kill can completely turn the tides of a team-fight, one wrong step can be the start of a disaster. So, always try to find a way in which you can win because there is a way to do it.

Mute your toxic team-mates

The next important thing that you have to do is mute your toxic team members. Even though this option was highly criticized before, it can actually be a game-changer, especially in certain situations.

If you see that someone from your team is just trying to bring your moral down, simply open the scoreboard and mute him.  

Try helping 

In a situation where you're team is losing the game, chances are that your teammates will need help. Regardless if you're a carry player or support, you can always try to get to them and help them in their lane. Although this might not seem useful at first, this will be a big morale boost to the team that can come a long way.
